The St. Augustine Chorale shall continue its ministry to the worshipping community of St. Augustine Catholic Church. We shall continue the Catholic tradition, drawing on ethnicity and old and new styles of music, while maintaining the traditional musical focus of the Chorale in singing hymns, spirituals, sacred, and classical music that helps worshippers pray and sing. As Chorale members we support one another through Christian love, respect, and hospitality, and strive to continue our Christian commitment to the worshipping community in everything we do.

Anyone is welcomed to join our Chorale family. We are actively recruiting new members in all four voices. Each member is expected to attend all scheduled two-hour rehearsals on time and to sing each Sunday and feast days.

The Chorale rehearses on Thursdays from 7:00–9:00 p.m., and on Sundays at 9:15 a.m. from August through June and is on vacation in July. Rehearsals are held in the Church during the week and in the Gingras Center (1419 V Street NW) on Sundays.
