Mental Health or Emotional Health is the degree in which we are able to meet life’s challenges. Emmaus Walk is the Mental Health Ministry of St. Augustine Catholic Church. Part of the mission of Emmaus Walk is to respond to the call of addressing the emotional needs of our community with love and support by providing assessment, triage, and referral services to our members who find that the stress of meeting the challenges of life have created distress, and life feels overwhelming.
There is a balm in Gilead to heal the soul.
We can all help prevent suicide. The 988 Lifeline provides 24/7, free and confidential support for people in distress, prevention and crisis resources for you or your loved ones, and best practices for professionals in the United States.
